quiet, dangerous, vast, simple, intimate, cluttered

  1. The salon style hanging for cluttered is such a great idea! Your simple and intimate are nice too, it might be more clear what intimate is though if the swing was more clearly a 2-seater. I'm also not sure that I get quiet either.

  2. quiet: I don't really get it
dangerous: I think a strong contrast will help it
vast: put the mountains farther in the distance to show more trees and expand the forest
    simple: seems too obvious
intimate: I think a second swing would help (maybe two names carved in the tree in a heart)
cluttered: maybe some stuff on the table and if you can more furniture

  3. For quiet, the toilet seems to be not in the right perspective and the window seems a bit distorted to me. I like intimate a lot, but I agree about adding another swing. I think it's fine as-is. Dangerous is very nice as well, I love the cliff. Vast doesn't seem that... vast, in my opinion. I think the piece would be better off without the mountains. Simple does it's job as fulfilling the prompt. I really like cluttered, as well. Good idea.

  4. I like the deadly, intimate, and cluttered the most. Actually I don't get the quiet one. Also although I like the deadly one, it has some kind of cozy feeling. I think its because of the cloud's poetic movement. If you correcte some, it would be much better piece.

  6. Really solid sketches, see if you can push your drawings just a little further each time to get more clarity for the future.

Quiet - I like this idea, but it's missing the square composition that's part of the challenge.

Dangerous - I think that there could be a little more focus on what's dangerous about this scenario - the spikes. Right now it's sort of a vast with some spikes in it, not threatening yet. You could have fun with adding more spikes, or clues to give the scene more menace.

Vast - I'm not feeling vast from this yet - you have mountains and trees, but they're all on the same plane. You need to push dimensions more, perspective, ect, to get the feeling of something huge.

Simple - Very effective, but make it square, and see if you can experiment with a composition that's less central.

Intimate - A very good idea, but perspective-wise looks very similar to vast. Just like with that, try angles and zooms that really emphasize the intimacy of a moment with a swing.

Cluttered - A good idea, again, I really like it. I think since the clutter is all on the wall (the room looks fairly organized) go a little crazier with that, and focus more on the wall and less on the whole room.

  7. So far none of them are stylized enough to get away with inconsistencies in perspective. You should either fancy-up some reference or embrace the crazy. My votes are for quiet intimate and cluttered. Great commode you got there. Your art has a certain joyfulness that I find very charming.

  8. I think you have a good sense of mood in all your pieces.I really enjoy cluttered, simple, and dangerous the most, especially cluttered. Although your take on quiet is quite funny...

  9. Each piece is pretty simple in a positive way. They have cuteness in it. I like quiet, simple, cluttered ones. but for simple one, if you pull the lightness on the window and darkness in the room more, like emphasizing the lighting, it would give some mood in it. I like narrow composition of the first one.

  10. Cluttered is a nice drawing but I think its bordering on a well decorated room ha.

I think Intimate would be really good if you zoomed out a bit and showed some of the ground.

and Quiet works really well and I love the detail especially in the wall paper. I think if you straightened it out a bit and made it less warped it would be better.

  11. Quiet and cluttered are the best out of these, but others might eclipse them in future drafts.

It seems to me that you can either choose to go with the cleanliness of Quiet or the wackiness of Cluttered, but it is important to choose.

  12. These are all really wonderful, I feel as if the perspective in deadly could be changed from either the base or the top of the mountain just to give it more energy. Excellent job!

  13. Cluttered is probably the most successful. I can practically smell the moth balls. Intimate is a nice idea (swings seem popular...), but two swings probably would make it more "intimate". I like how simple is just completely empty room, and the light from the window on the floor is great. Maybe exaggerate the perspective on the floor reflection a bit more.

  14. simple, intimate and dangerous are making me feel the vibe. The sea could be rougher for the dangerous scene and you could probably make the flowers in the intimate scene cuter. I mean, they look really cute already, but i mean, whatever, its up to you. The simple room is brilliant. absolutely brilliant.

  15. all of these have a very whimsical feel to them. they are very unique drawings and i think they communicate well. i think my favorites are cluttered quiet and intimate. the only suggestion i have is to render your shapes a little more clearly

  16. some of the perspectives could be changed to put more emphasis on the important parts.i agree that simple intimate and dangerous work really well, and with a bit more attention to details would help emphasize the meaning behind each piece

  17. deadly simple and vast are the ones that strike me. The way you handled the ink in deadly is very alluring in its confidence and I think that it is interesting in that it is so different from your other sketches. I wouldn't say that you should change your style, but I really think you could work with ink in that way to come up with some really strong work.
