"Well, that's not what I expected" Final Piece

Well THAT's not what I expected II

In case I can't make it to class tomorrow(have to be okayed by the doc)  here's this assignment.  Hoping I didn't cheat..  I ended up liking this composition better than my other piece.  I'm not satisfied with this one yet tho.

Final - Well THAT'S not what I expected.

The first is my final sketch and the second is my final piece. I was really trying to edit down the amount of lines in the second, which is more difficult for me than you would imagine. I thought I could solve the problem of the balancing the weight of the apple by making her hair dark instead of the background, and adding a bold pattern to her dress instead of the worm. I also adjusted the length of the worm to make it appear like it was coming out of the apple more, and some simple action lines to indicate her nausea. Hope this isn't too late, I'm finally getting better from this never ending head cold.
Thanks,
Sarah Robbins

sorry its late.
and for the poor scan quality.
ill try to scan them in again this week

Shark!

That shark on the lower right? I can't decide if I need to give it teeth. It looks dumb every time I try it out, but I am sure there is a way to do it, I just can't decide if it's necessary.

So teeth, yes? No? Other suggestions?
