  1. Your deadly piece is awesome! It really takes it to the extreme. I also really like your simple because it reminds me of Le Petit Prince. I definitely think you could pull off a quiet city too, you just have to be careful and stress the darkness of night because most cities are known for being awake 24/7.

  2. your deadly piece is surprisingly cute. maybe push the values on some of these, especially the planet or the city at night time.

  3. These could be pushed a lot further value-wise. I don't really understand simple. Intimate, deadly, and vast are my favorites. Quiet, however, doesn't make me think of quiet. Cities are still really noisy at night, so I'd consider some other possibilities for that one.

  4. cluttered: I'd like to see some shading
intimate: cute and it nicely illustrates the concept
deadly: this may be cliche but maybe have a raging river at the bottom
vast: right now it's only vast in terms of depth as opposed to width as well
quiet: cities aren't really that quiet (even at night) maybe switch to a small town but I like how it's night, oh and some stars too
    simple: I'm kind of confused

  5. Very cute images unni~! It makes me smile when I look at it. My 3 favorites are Cluttered, Intimate, Deadly. They will look good if you add colors~ Especially, for the Intimate one, I hope that you use pastel tonal colors. Also I think if you use color wisely, like using monochromatic tone, Quiet one will works well too

  6. I think the vast picture is very bland compared to your creativeness with the rest of the pictures I would like to see it brought to that level

  7. I like deadly but I think you need to add some more detail.
Intimate and CLuttered are my other two picks. For intimate maybe mess with the circular shape at the top that everything is hanging from, the perspective seems weird.

Quiet: I think cities are usually kinda loud at night, I know baltimore is.

  8. I think that your portrayal of simple is kinda bizarre, but in a good way. It definitely portrays the word though. Cluttered is really funny, along with deadly. I really enjoy cluttered, intimate, and deadly.

  9. Good drawings, all very clear!

Cluttered - This is looking good, could use a bit more, but definitely has the right mood going on.

Intimate - A very good take on intimate, I like how closely you zoomed in and how involved you got in the details of the mobile.

Deadly - I love it, the tension is great, especially since you varied those terrible stone columns.

Vast - This is a good depiction of vast.

Quiet - I'm not sure about this one yet...there are a lot of elements in it besides quiet, so that's what causes the hesitation.

Simple - I would take a few elements out of this to make it more simple, but the idea is very solid.

  10. The style you're channeling here is good, but it kinda feels like you haven't completely embraced the childishness of it all. I think if these were about 12% zanier, they'd be absolutely delightful.

  11. These are adorable! I agree with Greg and feel like you could push the envelope a little bit more on the weirdness, the ideas are clear and well done. Good job!

  12. Deadly, intimate, and simple are my picks. Deadly has such a great classic comic vibe. Intimate is both a nice idea and well composed. I like how the crib is left mostly out of frame.

  13. These are all very simple peices but i think that is part of your aesthetic. You communicate all of your ideas pretty well and i really like quiet dangerous and cluttered. these could use a little bit more rendering though

  14. i love all of your pieces i just wish you would have pushed the contrast a little more. they are simple but effective and color will be nice if you decide to use it

  15. Cluttered, intimate and simple are my top three. Simple is really good! I am excited to see them in color. Make sure you keep the faces of the child's toy the same!
