  1. Quiet, vast, and deadly are my favorites. For deadly you could probably make the swirling of the whirlpool a little more apparent though - at first I thought it was just crashing waves.

  2. Quiet Vast and Deadly

I think those three get the word across the best.

Quiet is awesome, i Love the composition, especially the split in the wall and the horizon. The mirror is great too.

I think the drawing for Intimate is great but I'm not sure how its intimate...?

  3. I think that deadly, quiet and vast are the best out of the six. I don't really understand intimate, and clutter could be even more cluttered with leaves and trees.

  4. I like quiet, vast and deadly the best. I think you can make deadly one better with focus on the detail of wave and its movement.

  5. 1- its kind of hard to tell what this is but it looks like it might resemble a cave. maybe add something more to help it communicate.
2-this communicates pretty well and has an interesting concept
3-i really like the crack in the ground but the sky could use a bit more rendering
4-i like the idea behind it and it definitely looks deadly. put some more detail in the water
5- this is very well drawn. im not sure how intimate it is but it looks very nice
6- is that seaweed? it looks pretty cluttered but its hard to tell the subject matter

my favorites are vast cluttered and intimate.

  6. Intimate happens to be my favorite especially since you need to focus in on it to understand it, whether that was intentional or not I feel it adds to the aspect of being intimate. I feel like cluttered could have more seaweed though it might be enough if you layer the background with various tones/colors. Nice job!

  8. Quiet, deadly, intimate ones are my favorite! But overall, you did really good job! The ideas are fresh and creative, and you delivered that ideas into image really well. I can's wait to see the color works on quiet one! It makes me soothing by just looking at it.

  9. simple: it's good I guess, I'd really like to see it in color
quiet: good, just wondering why half the wall is missing
vast: good but still a little obvious
deadly: I'd make the waves more intense and show a dark, storm sky
    intimate: don't get it
cluttered: make some more leaves or plants

  10. Perhaps Quiet, Intimate, and Deadly?

Intimate really steals the show, at least in it's present state, so I really hope you end up rendering the others that way. Deadly has some great motion in it, and I'd like to see it exaggerated a bit more.

  11. I like intimate, vast, and deadly the best. They get the idea across and if approached with the same care as intimate would be really amazing.

  12. Good drawings, all very clear and well detailed.

Simple - This isn't simple enough yet - in comparison to your other sketches it has about the same amount of detail. See what you can take out.

Quiet - This is very interesting! Very nice choice of elements, and very quiet.

Vast - Watch your horizon line on this one, having it in the center of the page minimizes your chances to emphasize "vast".

Deadly - This is nice, subtle, but gets the job done.

Intimate - Almost too close - what are we looking at? Broken floorboards? In order to understand what makes this intimate, we need to understand what we're seeing.

Cluttered - This doesn't read as cluttered because it's what we expect to see in a forest scene. Add more, and add a variety of elements.

  13. I am digging quiet, intimate, and deadly. The subtle but intriguing abstractions are working well to convey the themes, i feel as if these should be set to haiku. I want the transition from beach the bathroom to be either actual cut-away dimensional wall, or more dreamy and ethereal. I assume the purpose was to convey the calm of the bath but the divide is not as well considered as I desire. deadly will be great with more texture and the addition on color and intimate is just lovely (is it looking down through the broken planks of a dock? if so, you could have the shadows of the planks rippling slightly for greater clarity)
