  1. the docks are quiet, chairs are intimate, cathedral vast, carnival deadly(or just creepy as hell), and the antique shop cluttered

  3. The antique shop for cluttered is great! I also think that your quiet works really well, and intimate too. I'm not sure about the large empty space in the intimate picture though, usually more closed spaces are considered more intimate.

  4. I would have to say cluttered, quiet, and vast. I understand the cathedral isn't completed, but it's more of a hope for how it COULD look given what you've already done. Though I don't envy the detailing that would go into that...

  5. These are all really nicely done. My favorites are the quiet, deadly, and cluttered. These are all great, I can't wait to see which ones you choose.

  6. 1- nice perspective. i really like how you handled the reflections
2- this could maybe be cropped a little to help the compostion and its a little messy
3-this ones my favortite i think you should make this one of your finals
4- im not really sure how its deadly.. maybe add another element to help it communicate
5-i really like this one. it looks exactly like this antique store in hampden. you should consider this as a final too

  7. I really enjoy the composition in all of these however as stated before "deadly" could use some tweaking, maybe keep the carousel but make it look as if its spinning out of control? All in all they're neat!

  8. I'd say Cluttered, Quiet, and Vast.

These are all very quiet and old-timey, and I particularly like seeing them at the small size. It creates a nice texture with the pencils. Good stuff.

  10. Awesome with all the details! But i dont get why deadly one is deadly. It seems like dreamy to me. I really like cluttered one! I really can see your efforts in it.

  12. Beautiful drawings, but you need to re-consider all your compositions as squares.

Quiet - Working well, very quiet and moody.

Intimate - Add some more detail on the table, and crop in closer to it.

Vast - Really good idea, beautiful.

Deadly - Not quite deadly yet - needs some extra element, maybe?

Cluttered - This is working really well, it could use a bit more clutter but it's well on its way.

Simple - It's a beautiful drawing, but I'm not entirely sure it's simple compared to some of your other sketches (like intimate). See if you can pare it down.

  13. Cluttered is really great, reminds me of some kind of antique store with way too much stuff. I like the composition of this one.

The perspective on vast really helps show how large the building is. the detail in the building is great.

I like serene as the third. I think if you cropped it over to the right alittle bit, so some of the railing and the road curved down to the bottom of the image it would be nice and help move our eyes around the page.

  14. serene deadly and cluttered. Deadly, the carousel, is great!!! I'm big on brett helquist so maybe you can draw a bit from his work if it inspires you at all? Serene is also really a kick, but a bit more up top would be good for balance. I am excited for the deadly one.
