emily-- i'm going to give you a few things to think about before you go to final sketch--- 1.) the font (while quirky and fun-ish) is awkward and not confident enough to be so black... but not light and breezy enough to be "organic"; check out some existing fonts and either straight use or manipulate one. 2.) straight lines! if the image in the background is going to truly be in the background, which is fine, then the text needs to be confidently inthe foreground. 3.) i'm curious to see how the bird landscape plays out in color (or first, in b/w value tone). could get muddled. color will be important. come to crit with a plan, ok? *dana
