Sarah!

I haven't posted in a while, but it feels like I haven't done much. Even though I really HAVE, i've been working on books which I don't have photographed to share. But, I'll cut to the chase, I won't be in class Monday so I wanted to post my character drawings from what seems forever ago, so the person who's character this is, can see them! And maybe who ever had mine can put it up? I'd love to see. If anyone has any crits for me (besides lack of environment i know, i know, i'm going to work on that from here on out!) I'd greatly appreciate it. See you guys next week! I'm in Disney World!!

Drunk guy in a tuxedo

This is a comic strip I did back in Israel.
The plot is kind 'a hard to explain...it has something to do with the mixture of seasickness and liquor on one weird and hazy summer night. Anyway, it should be read from right to left.

A dump!

I realize that I have not been utilizing this wonderful source for criticism/feedback as much as I should, so here is a smattering of work from Character Development and other classes.

I tried to pick work in which the character design was important.

Some things...

First I thought I'd post my finished animate the inanimate piece since I missed the crit class:

Also, I kinda forgot to post the final of the piece I posted a while ago... so here ya go!

Apollo and Marsyas, 2 and 3 out of 3

An in-progress project I'm working on for Concepts II...the assignment was "Reinvent a Myth", I chose the Greek myth of Apollo and Marsyas.

Outside of Class

First off, this last Friday saw the release of Yellow Friday issue 1, a zine being produced by Sequential Arts Club as a school-newspaper-esque kind of zine, with intercampus news and current events. All the illustrations are done by club members. Student Activities is very, shall we say, curious? to see where this zine will go. If you're interested in being a part of it, as an artist, writer, or contributor of information/ad for your club or event, let me know or e-mail squartclub@gmail.com.

In Issue 1 we also features instructions on how to play the newest, hottest hand game, Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock.

This is a vulture with its beak shut. I did it for an online newsletter that I contribute to sometimes.

That's all! I hope everyone else is enjoying their snow day as well.
