I think vast and cluttered works well as it is. Maybe it's just me, but your simple, quiet, and intimate all looks quiet to me. compositionally simple, quiet can be little dynamic? interesting? I don't know, but they are the same composition and too boring esthetically? ( I know it should be simple, quiet but I feel like it should be more strongly saying the concept) I like intimate as quite.
Brandon - I think your vast composition looks really great. I would stick with that one. I like your intimate one too - I like the idea of the light shining on the drafting table and making it more intimate.I think I would choose the deadly sketch and think about the composition more - play with angles and zoom in/out to really see if you can totally capture "deadly."
